Stephen Hawking StarChildCan you call Stephen Hawking disabled when the man has been able to unravel so much of the world around us in his head?

We are all unique and different in our own way. The world would be a very boring place if we were all clones of each other. We enjoy our diversity and our differences, we enjoy the saying "opposites attract," we enjoy the beautiful range of skin and eye color, hair texture, body shape. Why can't we enjoy and accept the fact that everybody is able in his or her own way?

Last Saturday, we gathered in a Skype group for over four hours with many of our friends. Cecilia and I answered many of the questions they had added to a list on our discussion group on Facebook. Unfortunately, we weren't able to answer all of the questions that night so we are gathering on Skype again tonight for another fun filled night of discussion.

If you would like to join us, just install (if you don't already have it) and add us to your contact list (chris.almeida.author and cecilia.aubrey.author). Send us your username via email or PM on Facebook and we'll add you to the discussion group.

We hope to see you there tonight!

blockThe road to finishing a manuscript is riddled with obstacles. Of the social media kind, I mean. As independent publishers, we have a longer list of responsibilities than our fellow traditionally published authors. But one item on the majority’s list—independent of being indie or trad— is the biggest hurdle: the need to develop a brand, create a public image, promote one’s work.

Cecilia and I have worked on the Countermeasure Series for over two years now. The series has grown more and more robust over the past few months we've worked on Alternate Connection.

A new set of secondary characters we introduced to support the action in that story started a loud chatter in our heads. They were pushy and threatened to take over until we agreed to give them their own stories outside Countermeasure. And that's how the A.W.E. Crew was born.

The series will make its debut with ACE after Alternate Connection's release. We will keep everybody appraised of release dates so keep your eyes on our pages for more details as they become available. In the meantime, allow us to introduce you to ACE, the first novel in the A.W.E. Crew Series.

The photo on the cover was taken by Jenn LeBlanc and the model is Guy Marquardt who is currently one of the top-voted models in the Fifty Shades of Sexy contest.

Audible FB2_flat

We are happy to announce the availability of To Russia with Love in audiobook format from Audible, Amazon and iTunes.

We are working with the same producers of the two audiobooks to have all of the short stories in the series also available in that format.
