Chris Almeida
C. Almeida began writing children’s stories at a very young age. Chris’ life took a totally different course when technology came into play, and the next 15 years were spent delving deep into the world of programming and web design.
In 2010, Chris began role playing online as a hobby and it helped writing worm its way back into the picture. This time, writing storylines for the role playing group. The ideas and plots created for the game awoke the inner writer and a few months later, together with, partner in crime, C. Aubrey, began writing romantic erotica.
Now, together, they have created a number of short stories, are currently working on a book series and have several projects on the side lines. Through it all they have continued to enjoy role playing through their favorite characters.
Small Limitations, Not Disabilities
Can you call Stephen Hawking disabled when the man has been able to unravel so much of the world around us in his head?
We are all unique and different in our own way. The world would be a very boring place if we were all clones of each other. We enjoy our diversity and our differences, we enjoy the saying "opposites attract," we enjoy the beautiful range of skin and eye color, hair texture, body shape. Why can't we enjoy and accept the fact that everybody is able in his or her own way?
Q&A Part II
Last Saturday, we gathered in a Skype group for over four hours with many of our friends. Cecilia and I answered many of the questions they had added to a list on our discussion group on Facebook. Unfortunately, we weren't able to answer all of the questions that night so we are gathering on Skype again tonight for another fun filled night of discussion.
If you would like to join us, just install (if you don't already have it) and add us to your contact list (chris.almeida.author and cecilia.aubrey.author). Send us your username via email or PM on Facebook and we'll add you to the discussion group.
We hope to see you there tonight!

The Writing Cave
The road to finishing a manuscript is riddled with obstacles. Of the social media kind, I mean. As independent publishers, we have a longer list of responsibilities than our fellow traditionally published authors. But one item on the majority’s list—independent of being indie or trad— is the biggest hurdle: the need to develop a brand, create a public image, promote one’s work.
COVER REVEAL!!!
Cecilia and I have worked on the Countermeasure Series for over two years now. The series has grown more and more robust over the past few months we've worked on Alternate Connection.
A new set of secondary characters we introduced to support the action in that story started a loud chatter in our heads. They were pushy and threatened to take over until we agreed to give them their own stories outside Countermeasure. And that's how the A.W.E. Crew was born.
The series will make its debut with ACE after Alternate Connection's release. We will keep everybody appraised of release dates so keep your eyes on our pages for more details as they become available. In the meantime, allow us to introduce you to ACE, the first novel in the A.W.E. Crew Series.
The photo on the cover was taken by Jenn LeBlanc and the model is Guy Marquardt who is currently one of the top-voted models in the Fifty Shades of Sexy contest.

Short stories to be produced by Brick Shop Audiobooks

Breaking news!
Brick Shop Audiobooks, the production company handling both Countermeasure and To Russia with Love, has accepted to produce our short stories in the Bytes of Life Series. Those who have already listened to Countermeasure in audio have given us fantastic feedback and we do agree that Tim Gerard Reynolds's voice and accent is perfect for the story, most specifically, for his ability to switch accents and the natural Irish lilt.
We approached Brick Shop Audiobooks about the short stories and they have accepted our projects. We are thrilled to have Tim narrate them as well and maintain the consistency in the series. The first two titles are Uncharted and Ecstasy by the Sea. Two more will be submitted in the next month or so. We'll update everybody on the production as we go.

Lost to Rapture is released!

It's release day!
Lost to Rapture is already available on KOBO and it's slowly making its way through all channels. It should be available on Amazon and B&N later today. We'll update the book's page with the direct links as we have them.
Series Update
It's been a great week, albeit exhausting. We burned the midnight oil for most of the week and are happy to announce the release of Lost to Rapture on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. In addition, we finished the first review for the audio version of To Russia with Love. Tim Reynolds has again done a fantastic job with the narration and we couldn't be more pleased. The week was also marked by many great reviews of our books. We are thankful to those who left their thoughts and feedback about our stories both publicly and privately.
