A year ago we never imagined we would be where we are today. A year ago we had barely thought of Countermeasure. Only had a fuzzy image of the characters and had only taken them for a spin via RP (Role Play) a couple of times.

It has been a rainy lazy day. Chris and I sat down to work on the last touches of Countermeasure and to get started on additional work on To Russia With Love, however, our best intentions have been thwarted by snow, distractions like catching up with friends on facebook, and yes, the rainy lazy day.  We often say authors don’t get holidays but sometimes you just have to sit back and take one. Recharge the batteries, brain, creative juices—choose your poison—and enjoy the rainy lazy day.  I hope you took the time to have a lazy day with family, recharge, and gear yourself for a wonderful year of writing. Happy New Year!

For the last month and some Cecilia and I have been researching, learning as much as we can about the publishing world. You would think as published authors we already knew a lot. As it turns out, there is a vast amount of information floating around on the new emerging publishing world of which we were still not aware. Add a comment

While reading forums and discussion boards on the topic of craft I often come across questions by aspiring authors (like us) regarding when do we, as authors, know when the book is “perfect”.
